Men’s College in Szczecin

The activities at “Rejs” are perfectly tailored to the needs and challenges that young men encounter in their daily lives. We believe that this form of engagement is exceptionally effective.

“Rejs” Dormitory – Live with us

This is an excellent way to make the most of your time studying in Szczecin—learning in a motivating, active environment that shapes character in a friendly atmosphere. We offer not only accommodation but also the opportunity to participate in a project that could become one of the most exciting adventures during your studies.

Library Opening Hours

Every good student should devote a lot of time to studying. At “Rejs,” we provide a library for self-study. The library is open on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on weekends from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We warmly invite you! If you are visiting for the first time, please contact the dorm director or the residents.

Who Can Use the “Rejs” College?

The activities of the “Rejs” Academic Center are directed at all students and high school students, regardless of their university or beliefs. We welcome believers, seekers, and non-believers alike. If you want to participate in “Rejs” activities, write to us or call. You can also attend a meeting in person.

Who Funds the “Rejs” Activities?

The center is funded by donations, primarily from individuals who participated in “Rejs” activities as students. These individuals, appreciating the values shared by the center, choose to support our work, just as alumni of many universities do worldwide. Many tasks related to maintaining the center are carried out by the students themselves, who generously dedicate their time.

Donations During the College Construction

During the preparation for building the new dormitory, from 2008 to 2013, hundreds of people supported us financially or through volunteer work. The city of Szczecin, recognizing the importance of our project, provided support through its council members. Every student living in “Rejs” should know that the current dormitory is a result of solidarity and investment in youth development.

Additionally, resident students pay rent, which covers only part of the costs of accommodation, meals, and other services, such as laundry, cleaning, and utilities.

“Rejs” is managed by the Pomeranian Association for the Promotion of Science. Like any social organization, “Rejs” requests donations and support from available sources (e.g., grants, 1,5% of income tax for public benefit organizations, etc.).

“Rejs” Alumni

There are over 200 alumni of our dormitory. Initially, the dormitory was located in Pogodno at 14 Waryńskiego Street. Since 2013, we have been operating at 51 Mickiewicza Street in a new facility. We are open to cooperation with all universities in our city and region.

Our alumni are recognized specialists in many fields, such as medicine, engineering, law, economics, journalism, and the arts. Some began their studies in Szczecin and continued them elsewhere—in Poland and abroad. Among our alumni, who previously participated in activities for high school students, are students of the University of Cambridge, universities in Germany, and many renowned Polish universities.
